...the next morning.
Tommy�s birthday party was a blast. It was so wonderful being surrounded by people that I respect and that respect me, celebrating someone we were all touched by. There were tons of hugs and the music was incredible. I got totally slammed on gin and tonic while I danced around like a fool dragging BJ along with me. He was a good sport and couldn�t resist rubbing in the fact that I was very intoxicated. Benny, meanwhile, hung out with the tech people and they talked shop over the noise of the music. It was getting late and I needed to be into work fairly early so Benny and I decided to leave. I was fairly sick when I got home and ended up sleeping on the bathroom floor. A word from the now wizened�don�t drink alcohol after taking sinus medication, it does really nasty things to you. I ended up calling in to work due to the fact that I was still intoxicated when I woke up this morning. I basically told my supervisor that I wasn�t feeling well and that I would come in as soon as I felt better; let her decide what my ailment is. I slept for the rest of the morning and dragged myself into work around 11a.m. I�m still feeling spacey but I�m sure that by the end of the day I�ll be fine.
