Death to sweets and plastic Christmas trees!!!
I hate the holidays! Ok, maybe hate is too strong of a word�I dislike the holidays immensely. Don�t get me wrong, I love family and friends and presents given, but I really don�t like the poundage I acquire during this lovely season. It is Satan�s way of making himself known while celebrating the birth of Jesus, Hanukah or whatever the hell that other one is�Kwanzaa? By the way, what is Kwanzaa about anyway? I was out of the public education system before it became mandatory to know stuff like that. Instead I was taught how to read, write and do proper mathematics. It humors me how an eighth grade student can�t read but he can tell me what�s considered politically correct, but I digress. So, Ass. Mort. has become a drop off station for holiday cookies and other terribly fattening yummies that are totally irresistible. Not only that, but there are dozens of companies that want to show their appreciation by bringing us lunch and showering us with more ungodly sweets. I have a continual sugar-low headache and I my new insulation isn�t very attractive. Not only am I being assaulted by sweets, my beautiful Christmas tree is a total disaster. This is Zack�s first Christmas and he finds the tree absolutely fascinating. Unfortunately, that leaves my tree resembling the Charlie Brown Christmas tree. I constantly have to reattach limbs and bulbs. Benny just wants to tear the whole damn thing down�I�ve considered it as well. Not only is the tree now ugly, but it�s enormous. It takes up my whole living room and the space issue is driving me absolutely batty! (Psycho theme song) Die Christmas tree! Die!!! *sigh* I just have to suck it up and try to make it through the season with out killing myself or my plastic tree.
