Anniversary Surprise
Went to the fireman appreciation dinner last night. Ate an ungodly amount of carbs and now I�m indulging in leftovers. Benny got his annual check for his service to the community. It was a nice little sum; most of which will be going to the sound company. Whatever he has left will be paying for our anniversary weekend. Which by the way, I still have no idea what he�s planning. He won�t even drop a hint. I�ve done everything from asking him yes and no questions to asking his friends if they know anything. They just smile, pat me on the head and I�m still left with nothing. I should just accept the fact that it�s a surprise and get over it, but I can�t!!! This Thursday Benny has training so we aren�t going to do anything special on our actual anniversary. I may bust out my raunchy collection of porno soundtracks and do a little dance for him, but I�m not sure. I first need to find my CDs. If anything I can always download a few of my favorites. I�ll probably go to church choir practice instead. They always need a little extra help for the holiday masses. I�ve been very neglectful of my spiritual well being lately. I�m a little upset with God right now, but there is always a time in a child�s life when they hate their parents, right? So hopefully it will pass soon, because I don�t like stepping into the church feeling angry. Maybe participating with the choir will help me get over it.
